Title: Emancipation proclamation.
We are an independent country.
Indeed, we are a republic. Sovereign in our own rights and beliefs.
The courage to make laws that suit our citizens lie with us.
A far cry from what our ancestors, Negroes and Indians, faced together.
Emancipation is not just a word.
Emancipation is a belief.
It is a dream, that as a person you are worthwhile.
Your thoughts matter. Your life matters.
Are we willing to sacrifice our freedom? Probably not.
Are we willing to die, to protect the freedoms our ancestors fought so hard for us to enjoy?
Again, probably not.
Our history is just as beautiful as it is violent.
If we do not emancipate ourselves from the troubles we have created, then the beauty is gone completely.
Just the violence remains.
