Title: In times of Trouble


The hearts of all TAJ staffers go out to those who have suffered greatly following flooding in Central and South.

That the light of Divali was somewhat dimmed is a travesty in our culturally beautiful landscape.


But as with the message of Divali, light will always overcome darkness.


Barrackpore Breakfast Shed, on realising the plight of their neighbours continued cooking as usual this morning.

But all the food went out to those in need.

And a call was made for those with vans to assist in bringing some level of comfort to those now downtrodden.


The writer has always wondered how this country would perform in a tragedy.


Would we band together?


Or would we continue the painful crawl over one another?


Still we don’t know.


But some people still care. And that’s good for a start.

Andrew is first and foremost a writer. Since he was seven and realized this, his life’s pursuit has been researching and understanding all the specific elements and genres of his craft. These genres include creative prose and poetry, to journalistic, copywriting, blogging and academic writing.
