TAJ News Talk: 18th August 2017

When a Government fails the people

What are the repercussions in this country when those who are supposed to work for the people go on an extended vacation?

The Tobago ferry is a calamitous situation that has been going on for months.

Forget the Prime Minister is a Tobagonian.

We have a piece of paradise and trying our best to create a crisis in it.

Why is it forward thinking in this country is seen as a sign of weakness?

Why does politics rule everything, even, according to conservationist, Stephen Broadbridge, the protection of our environment?

Our political leaders are not role models.

Our youths don’t have role models.

All our leaders are involved in Bobol.

Or creating commess for the sake of not dealing with the issue.

We deserve better.

But we don’t demand it.

So the 99 percent will always be looking in and wishing to be the 1 percent.
