Title: Foolish Games

Mid-week blues anyone? No?  Good for you!

So it seems like the present administration is running the country like a sideshow carnival.

Even if you win a prize, or in the Opposition’s case, correct in their stance, they giving you a small stuffed toy.

Minister of Tourism Shamfa Cudjoe is the clown we all love to hate.

As Tourism Minister, she dissolved TDC. Then jetted off conveniently.

She promised Maracas.

Minister of Rohan Sinanan had to step in and save her.

Now, 50 thousand dollars in data. In 4 days.

Immediately claims innocence. Puts all the blame on the carnival service provider.

According to reports, she was live streaming from Mars as they were terra forming there. Probably not.

But of course, what will happen now?

Will TSTT take the lash? More than likely. They have money to burn, clearly, since they can buy Massy Communications.

And while the Opposition is happy to see the present system crumbling, what bothers even more is the race card.

Not the simmering little 3 that you might pull to save face in a small argument.

But the Prime Minister. Dropping an Ace.

And drawing Sachin Tendulkar into it.

Are you trying to anger 1 billion plus people?

Are you deciding that we don’t need foreign exchange, because it’s Indian?

Continue running the carnival.

The good, smart Trinis are going off and making their name in the world.

Soon the rest of us will look to follow as we watch our paradise shrivel into dust.
