Jagga Jasoos actor Ranbir Kapoor is hinting there may be a sequel to the film. He said the musical adventure ended quite exciting and will leave its audience in suspense, however, the sequel depends on how well the film performs at the box office.

If they accept it, then we would love to take the character and the genre forward.” The team were unable to get their television series going due to a number of setbacks and wanting all their focus to be on that one project. The film was reported to have taken three and a half years to complete as there were many delays including the breakup between Kapoor and his co-star Katrina Kaif.
Jagga Jasoos has been criticised for its similarity with Tintin due to Kapoor’s quiff but he stated that movies like Tintin, Indiana Jones and Sherlock Homes all served as inspiration for both him and director Anurag Basu, but the story bears no similarity.
