Aamir Khan to play first Indian in Space.

Aamir Khan is set to do yet another biopic. Following his Dangal success, he will now be playing the role of Rakesh Sharma, the first Indian to fly to space. According to the Deccan Chronicle, the film was initially rumoured to be named “Saare Jahaan Se Acha” but was later changed to “Salute.” The film is reportedly co-produced by Aamir Khan and Siddharth Roy Kapur, and will be release in 2018. According to a leading daily, “Sid had approached Aamir with the script of his last film and this time too he went straight to him. The 2018 film will be made under his newly-launched banner RK Films (Roy Kapur Films). It will be directed by Mahesh Mathai.” Roy Kapur and Khan are yet to confirm whether or not they are producing the film together.
